We work with adults and teens experiencing challenges related to their communication, cognition, or swallowing skills to help them regain skills to confidently engage in their everyday.

We provide one-on-one and group consultation and training to families and caregivers in order to effectively navigate daily interactions and communication while decreasing the carer burden.

Workshops & Support Groups

We offer workshops and support groups for clients and caregivers on various topics.

Hi, I am Sophia Apgar, a speech therapist experienced in working with teens and adults in the areas of communication, cognition, voice, and swallowing. I am dedicated to improving each client's outcomes by providing evidence-based therapy in collaboration with my client's family and caregivers. I understand that therapy is most effective when we work on meaningful goals that will lead to positive changes in everyday life.

 

I opened Insight Speech and Swallowing Therapy to provide the highest quality speech and swallowing therapy in the Cherry Hill, NJ, community. I also offer online speech therapy to clients located anywhere in NJ and PA.

In-office sessions are great for a quiet, focused environment and to get out of the house.

We also offer group sessions and support groups.

At Home

Therapy at home provides practice in your everyday environment. This is a great option if coordinating transportation to and from appointments is difficult. 

 

We service within 30 minutes of Cherry Hill, NJ.

Virtually

Tele-therapy provides speech therapy right at your fingertips. This is a great option if you live farther away or would like to have follow-up check-ins.
