Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

Evaluation and treatment for use of no- to low- to high-tech Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) options. AAC may be beneficial to those with:

  • Aphasia

  • Apraxia

  • Autism

  • Developmental Disability

  • Dysarthria

  • Primary Progressive Aphasia

  • Traumatic Brain Injury

  • other Neurologic Disorders (ALS, Parkinson’s Disease, Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Huntington’s Disease or Muscular Dystrophy)

     

Sophia is a Certified Lingraphica Technology Specialist 

This included training to become proficient in the use of  Lingraphica technologies and who work closely with Lingraphica to optimize outcomes for people with communication impairments.
